Tesla FSD V13.2.2 Launches with Holiday Update Features; Now Available for HW4 Models

FSD users can now partake in the holiday festivities, as FSD version 13.2.2 has begun rolling out to customers, bringing with it all the features from the 2024 Tesla Holiday Update.

Tesla’s VP of AI, Ashok Elluswamy, previously indicated that the Holiday Update would be available to FSD users this week, and his timelines have proven accurate. All AI4/HW4 models in North America are now starting to receive the updated FSD release along with the full suite of Holiday update features.

This new version is update 2024.45.25.5, which is expected to be distributed across the fleet over the coming week.

Holiday Highlights

The Holiday update introduces a wealth of new features, including app enhancements such as Apple Watch support, a Dashcam and Sentry Mode Viewer, and the ability to initiate Light Shows.

Additionally, users will benefit from rear cross-traffic alerts, while navigation has been upgraded with features like Search Along Route, Arrival Energy at Destination, Weather at Destination, and Precipitation Maps.

The Holiday Update enhances the entertainment experience by introducing the SiriusXM streaming app for the Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertruck, along with an upgraded TuneIn player. Additionally, there are exciting new features tailored specifically for the Cybertruck, including custom wraps, a festive Cyber Santa Mode, and ambient lighting options like Santa and Rainbow Road.

As for FSD V13.2.2, here’s our initial glimpse. Although the release notes don’t highlight any new features for FSD, it is anticipated to come with various undisclosed fixes and enhancements.

Already on the Holiday Update?

If you’re currently using Tesla’s Holiday update, version 2024.44.25.2, and you own a HW4 vehicle, you are now eligible to receive FSD V13.2. We anticipate that all HW4 vehicles equipped with FSD will transition to this version within the next week or two.

For those with HW3, stay tuned for an upcoming update that will include FSD V12.6.

For Hardware 3 owners, FSD V12.6 is just around the corner—it’s expected to launch by the end of the year, as confirmed by Ashok. We’re looking forward to the introduction of a new tech stack for highway driving, updated speed profiles including a Hurry Mode, and enhancements from V12.5.6 for HW3 vehicles.
