Tesla Plans to Unveil Cybertruck-Themed Bear Sculpture in California

Tesla is preparing to introduce a bear sculpture inspired by its Cybertruck design outside its Global Engineering Headquarters in Palo Alto, California. The CyberBear monument will celebrate the company’s deep roots in the state, which proudly features a bear on its official flag.

Tesla was founded in California in 2003 and maintained its headquarters there until relocating to Texas in 2021. However, the company continues to have a major presence in the state through its Fremont Factory and engineering facilities.

About the CyberBear Sculpture

Set to be placed at the entrance of the Palo Alto headquarters, the CyberBear will be a stylized, low-poly representation of a California Grizzly Bear. Tesla’s in-house team designed the statue to blend the company’s signature futuristic aesthetics with a symbol of California, representing strength and resilience.

The statue will be constructed from metal and given an aged finish. It will sit on a concrete base equipped with RGB lights to enhance its appearance at night.

The CyberBear is likely to evoke elements of the CyberOwl, the Sentry Mode icon on the Cybertruck. Although still in the proposal stage, the project has sparked excitement about what the final result will look like.

While the design mentions the use of "aged metal," there’s speculation that Tesla may utilize the same stainless steel featured on the Cybertruck for a more cohesive design.
