Since its production launch, the Cybertruck has faced disappointment in terms of achieving its promised range. To address this, Tesla introduced a pricey "range extender" battery system, priced at $16,000, designed to augment the truck's range. However, this add-on occupies space in the truck bed and is presently unavailable.

For now, the Cybertruck's Dual Motor variant delivers an EPA-estimated range of around 320 miles with the standard tires.
