Tesla Confirms Hardware 3 is Robotaxi-Ready

At the 'We, Robot' event, Lars Moravy, Tesla's Vice President of Vehicle Engineering, confirmed that Hardware 3 is fully capable of operating as a Robotaxi. This means that Hardware 3 can handle Unsupervised Full Self-Driving (FSD), as discussed during the event. The news was further highlighted in a video featuring YouTuber Kim Java, who interviewed both Moravy and Tesla's Chief Designer, Franz Von Holzhausen.

Both executives expressed confidence in Hardware 3’s capabilities, even suggesting that a HW3-equipped vehicle could operate without a steering wheel in Robotaxi mode.
