This package involves enhancing the cabin door seals to enable this functionality. This idea builds upon Musk's previous claims about the Cybertruck's waterproof capabilities, suggesting its ability to briefly operate as a watercraft to cross rivers, lakes, and less turbulent seas.

Musk's vision extends to using the Cybertruck to traverse the distance between SpaceX's Starbase and South Padre Island in Texas, spanning around 360 meters. While specific details or release dates for this package haven't been disclosed, Tesla's recent introduction of an Off-Road Mode, including "Wade Mode" to pressurize the battery pack for better sealing, aligns with the concept.

Furthermore, referencing Lars Moravy's comments about connecting an electric outboard motor to the truck's rear to transform it into a boat, Musk highlighted Tesla's intention to sell a specialized package to enable this functionality.
