Tesla's Summon feature is set to receive significant enhancements, while Autopark is undergoing a rebranding with a new name.

According to Elon Musk, Tesla's Summon and Autopark functionalities are poised for significant upgrades next month. In addition to enhancing the features, Tesla plans to rebrand Autopark under a new name, tentatively dubbed "Banish."

Musk's recent announcement about forthcoming advancements has sparked anticipation among Tesla owners and enthusiasts, prompting speculation about what enhancements might be in store.

While some users have expressed a desire for improvements to features like Auto Wipers, Tesla has been diligently working on refining its semi-autonomous driving capabilities and fine-tuning aspects of Enhanced Autopilot, including Summon and Autopark.

Although Summon, which enables owners to summon their vehicles remotely, has proven useful, it has encountered limitations. The upcoming improvements aim to enhance Summon's accuracy and confidence when navigating parking lots.

Tesla is also expected to unveil Autopark upgrades in April, coinciding with the introduction of the rebranded feature, Banish. The whimsical name suggests the capability to seamlessly park the vehicle without manual intervention, humorously implying the ability to make the car "disappear" into its parking spot autonomously.

These enhancements not only promise to elevate the Tesla ownership experience but also signify progress toward achieving greater autonomy in Tesla vehicles.
